Hello there...

Out of sheer boredom and a hankering to share my unrequited knowledge with the world I am finally going to get this little rodeo on the road. I will, for the most part, be talking about comics of any variety since I don't discriminate. For the most part anyway. I'll talk to Brit and Josh to see if they still want to hold up their ends up of this nonsense. I am currently ripping through Warren Ellis and John Cassaday's Planetary, a mash up of pulp magazines, monster movies, kung fu throwbacks, aliens, alternate dimensions and just about anything awesome you can think of. Its the story of Elijah Snow, Jakita and the Drummer who work for an organization called Planetary as their field team, uncovering mysteries and discovering how the world works. When I am finished I will probably post some fun stuff about it. I will also do some write-ups on Preacher and the Boys eventually, great shit. Stay tuned for updates!

Arroz Pegao

I was lucky enough to catch this short at the 2009 Bay Street Film Festival, I found it to be one of my favourites shown. It's very modest and very sweet.
